    Hey Smartass, i was watching it on HD and if you can’t see the quality loss then you may need to go to an eye doctor or buy a new monitor. Read Wikipedia and learn a thing or two before trying to be cool on youtube! maximum property values for 1280×720@30.0 at Level 3.1 varies from 14mbit/s to 56mbit/s. So the 6 – 8mbit/s that i recommended is not that bad if you want to upload an HD vid to youtube.Yeah go check wikipedia @ wikipediaDOTorg/wiki/H.264

    can’t remember right now (not at home either).
    But to cut down size on video files I remember using h.264 quicktime files. Those were just incredibly small compared to other formats I tried.

    That was using adobe premiere. Can’t remember more specific settings though
